KK Private Limited Company (KK PLC) was started as a small entrepreneurial effort by Mr. Ketema Kebede forty years ago. This business which has been run by one visionary man acting as an owner, manager and operator has been transformed in to a formal business entity and KK was formally established as a trading company to operate in Ethiopia in 1992.
KK initially started its businesses as a distribution agent of imported and locally manufactured textile products representing different manufacturing

companies. Two years from its establishment, KK managed to register fast growth. This forced the owner to organize the office in terms of resources and manpower and accordingly the first three professional staff were hired by the owner and started operation in a leased office.

Owing to strong and flexible leadership of the founder General Manager, gradually KK transformed itself from one-man operation into a highly organized trading company in the country. Twelve years after its establishment, KK became one of the prominent businesses in Ethiopia and started diversifying its business. It did not also take long for the Company to establish itself as reliable partner of international trading companies.

KK took a leap and added a major portfolio in its business by acquiring a textile manufacturing plant from the government and engaged in to textile business to become the major producer of blanket and acrylic in the country that are distributed through represented agents in almost all parts of the country.

Now more than forty years since its establishment, KK has become a diversified multi portfolio business company playing its own part in contributing to the economic development of the country by creating job for many citizens.

Mr. Ayalew has been working for KK for the last 16 years and he is currently the deputy General Manager for operations that oversees the industry sector as well as the import and export business which is the backbone of KK plc.

Ato Faris Hiruy is an Engineer technologist in the field of Textile and holds in textile Engineering who has  specialized in spinning man-made and natural fiber. Ato Faris has started his career as a high school teacher, after graduated from Kotebe teachers training college with Diploma. After serving 5 years as a high school teacher he joined Moscow Textile Engineering Institute and graduated in 1984 G.c. with M.Sc. in textile engineering. After having his M.Sc. he has served in the following factories.

Engineer Wendimu is a graduate of Addis Ababa University with a BSC degree in Civil Engineering and has got MSC in Construction Technology and Management. Eng.  Wendimu has worked in KK PLC as a Real Estate Manager from October 2021 – To Date and for MGM Consulting firm as Project manager, Project Coordinator, Contract administrator and Resident Engineer for different Projects from March 2008 to September 2021. Eng. Wendimu has also worked in Addis Ababa Housing Development Project as Construction and Office Engineering Department Head and project engineer. He has also served as Construction Engineer, Contract Administrator and Office Engineer, for Environmental Development Office of Addis Ababa Administration. He has also worked in various Refugee camps in Eastern and Western Zone Office of Administration for Refugee and Returnee Affairs and contributed his professional experiences in Contract Administration, Construction management, Construction administration and Supervisor from March 1998 – August 2003.

Ermias Sene holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and e is  Currently studing for a Master's Degree in Computer Science. Mr. Ermias has worked was work in Addis Ababa Institute of Technology as Application Developer and Sheger Radio Station as Project Manager for digitalization the station. He is currently working at KK PLC as ICT Service Head. Whole are company is depending a robust ICT technology to bring in operation excellence and real time decision making.
